The main purpose of this menu is to make it easier to keep track of all open windows. Each time you open a new window a new menu item is added showing the title of the window. When you close the window, this item will be removed again.
If a window is hidden behind other windows, you can bring it to the front by selecting the menu item in the 窶弩indows窶 menu corresponding to this window.
In addition to the menu items corresponding to the open windows, the menu also contains a few 窶忖tility窶 commands.
Help窶ｦ
This command is used to bring up the 窶廛ynRisk-Help窶 file. If this file is open already, the menu item changes simply to 窶廛ynRisk-Help窶.
Note that if you placed the 窶廛ynRisk-Help窶 file in the same directory as the DynRisk application, DynRisk will find this file automatically. If on the other hand you placed it somewhere else, you will be asked to locate the file. Unless you move it again, DynRisk will remember the location the next time you use the 窶廩elp窶ｦ窶 command.
Free memory窶ｦ
This command is used to display the amount of free RAM left. If the active document is a model document, you can also use this command to see the number of model objects in this document.
The amount of free RAM will depend on the size of your model, and on the amount of RAM you have chosen to set aside for DynRisk in the Finder.
Zoom
The 窶彁oom窶 command is used to expand the active window such that it fills the screen. If you hold down the Option key while selecting 窶彁oom窶 the window will shrink back to its former position. Usually you would use the zoom box on the right hand side of the window title field to control the window size. However, in cases where a window is expanded or moved to a position where this box is outside of the screen or hidden behind the toolbar, you may find the 窶彁oom窶 command useful.
Hide/Show toolbar
The toolbar is located just below the menubar, and contains buttons for the most frequently used operations. The 窶廩ide toolbar窶 command is used to hide the toolbar. This is useful if you need a little more screen space for the active window. If the toolbar is hidden, the menu item is changed to 窶彜how toolbar窶. The 窶彜how toolbar窶 command is used to bring the toolbar back again.
